Description
The job involves system-level validation of high-speed communication modules, including PCI, USB, and Storage. This role requires developing software to validate high-speed communication IP blocks in Apple System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. Additionally, the position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring up and debug SoC issues, as well as coordinating the execution of tests to ensure the validity and reliability of the communication modules.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with low level software development in a Unix environment
- Knowledge and experience with high speed interface (PCIE/USB/NAND) is a must
- Knowledge and skill in C/C++ programming is a must
- Familiar with digital design, design verification, and silicon and analog characterization
- Experience with assembly languages, and scripting languages a plus
- Experience with using test equipment and analyzers a plus
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
