**Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first** The Strategy Advancement Advisor provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company at large. The Strategy Advancement Advisor works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. **Job Description** The Strategy Advancement Advisor leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. This role will provide leadership in cross-functional collaboration, performance management, and organizational alignment to enhance clinical operations within the Humana Medicaid landscape. **Key Responsibilities:** **Stakeholder Engagement & Communication** + Act as a liaison between the CliniOps organization, executive leadership, and various internal and external stakeholders + Own the interaction model for the CliniOps organization + Develop executive-level reports, presentations, and communications to support leadership decision-making + Facilitate and lead leadership meetings, strategic discussions, and operational reviews + Develop & Maintain organization specific CliniOps calendar of events for strategic and planning purposes + Build important organizational artifacts to be socialized with leadership across the Medicaid org like Team Capability deck, org charts etc. + Work with finance to keep budgets and resource headcount up to date for the organization and advise the leaders on the same as needed **Strategic Planning & Execution** + Partner with the Director of Program Delivery for CliniOps to enable and accelerate execution of strategic initiatives aligned with business goals. + Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and the Medicaid landscape shifts to inform strategic decision-making. **Use your skills to make an impact** **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience + 3 - 5 years of project leadership experience + Experience facilitating goal driven forums with senior leadership + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Proficiency in project management and change management methodologies + Advanced Powerpoint skills (creating and presenting) **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience driving data driven strategic initiatives **Additional Information** **Work at Home Criteria** To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: + At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. + Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. + Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. + Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. + Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. **Interview Format** As part of our hiring process for this opportunity, we will be using an interviewing technology called HireVue to enhance our hiring and decision-making ability. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 **Pay Range** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $115,200 - $158,400 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
