Summary: The mail room clerk is responsible for handling, logging and disseminating all incoming and outgoing mail in the physical Dayton, Ohio Office.
Essential Functions. - Sorting, logging and delivery of all incoming mail;
- Sorting, and handling all postage and delivery for outgoing mail as directive by the Attorney or Paralegal staff;
- Office supply ordering and receipt, organization and inventory control;
- Transporting USPS mail and FedEx to specific post-office or carrier locations;
- Logging and tracking incoming mail via Firm Case Management System;
- Logging, tracking and maining Original Loan Documents through the Firm Case Management System and the Firm designated Original Vault;
- Oversee and manage office shredding;
- Scanning, shredding and logging of physical files.

Work Environment. This job operates in a professional setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
At times, may require lifting large and/or small items or furniture.
Travel Yes - travel is expected for this position. (Local travel for mail pickup and dropoff)
Required Education And Experience - High School diploma or Equivalent.
Preferred Education And Experience - Attending College or some college;
- Prior work experience in a professional environment is a plus;
Additional Eligibility Qualifications - Must have proof of auto insurance.
- Must have valid Driver’s License.
