The Role
We're seeking a Social Media Manager who is equal parts strategist, content creator, and trend-spotter. You'll oversee our social media presence, collaborate with our Creative and Marketing teams, and lead a team of specialists in crafting engaging content that resonates with audiences across the globe.
You'll take the reins of our social strategy, managing content calendars, launching innovative campaigns, and working with our global team to ensure our brand stays fresh, relevant, and culturally attuned.
What You'll Do
Content Calendar Management: Plan and maintain daily content calendars and posting schedules.
Audience Advocacy: Ensure our social strategy aligns with both company goals and audience interests.
Content Development: Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, and external contributors to craft engaging content, from social posts to video scripts.
Campaign Innovation: Work closely with regional teams to create tailored campaigns that align with our brand vision.
Platform Expertise: Manage communities on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and explore opportunities on platforms like YouTube.
Performance Analysis: Analyze social performance, provide insights, and create weekly and campaign wrap-up reports.
Trendspotting: Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
Copywriting: Write and edit copy for social posts, video scripts, and other digital assets.
Team Collaboration: Mentor and support global social media specialists to execute impactful strategies.
What We're Looking For
3-5 years of experience managing social media channels (agency or client-side experience is a bonus).
A deep understanding of esports, gaming culture, and internet trends.
A strong eye for design and attention to detail.
Exceptional copywriting skills; journalism experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Slack, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of analytics tools and experience with Facebook/Instagram Creator Studio.
Passion for creating innovative social content and driving brand growth.
