The Signia by Hilton San Jose \( a premium full\-service property with over 541 guest rooms is looking for their next Security Officer\. Across the street from Plaza de César Chávez Park and within walking distance of the San Jose Convention Center, our property offers a prime location in the capital of Silicon Valley\. Setting the stage for a new class of business travel, you'll find over 55,000 sq\. ft\. of meeting and function space\. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: + Patrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions\. + Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property\. + Promote safe work practices\. + Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed\. + Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed\. + Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner\. **What are we looking for?** Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry\.
