**Job Title:** Mechanical Test Technician - Day Shift **Location:** Fremont, CA **Industry:** Renewable Energy / Advanced Manufacturing **Shift** : Day Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, flexible) **Pay:** Up to $27/hr **About the Company:** A well-established company in the renewable energy and advanced manufacturing space is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Test Operator to join their team in Fremont, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. **Job Description:** As a Test Operator, you'll support the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery and tools, assist with mechanical testing and assembly, and help manage inventory. You'll also be responsible for occasional local part deliveries using a company vehicle. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist in the setup, maintenance, and operation of machinery and tools + Support the assembly and mechanical testing of parts and components + Perform routine maintenance checks and report equipment issues + Pick up and deliver parts within a 50-mile radius using a company vehicle + Operate a forklift (training provided) + Maintain a clean and safe working environment + Help manage inventory and raw materials + Follow all safety protocols and procedures **Required Skills & Qualifications:** + Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and testing equipment + Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail + Ability to read and follow instructions accurately + Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks + Comfortable standing, walking, and bending for extended periods + Valid driver's license (for local deliveries) + Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing environment **Preferred Skills:** + Experience in a production or general labor setting + Organizational and time-management skills + Basic understanding of machine shop tools and equipment **Experience Level:** Intermediate **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
