*Assist with responding to filed litigation and disputes in which the employer is a party, including civil suits, labor arbitrations and other administrative proceedings (NYS Division of Human Rights, US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Offices of Civil Rights, etc.); involves coordinating with outside counsel; overseeing discovery and disclosure; assisting with drafting briefs, answers, other response documents; preparing witnesses for depositions, trials and administrative hearings; and evaluating and negotiating settlements. *Conduct legal research as assigned or requested to guide institutional, school, college and unit decision-making, and to support policy development or revision. $138,000 - $150,000
