Summary of Essential Duties: + Maintain an efficient par-level process for imaging medications, including conducting item counts, inputting data, transporting, and storing imaging medications. Ensures the safe handling and storage of imaging medications. + Oversees the day-to-day product inventory operations for designated peri-operative areas. + Collaborates with medical and nursing staff and all areas of Support Services including (but not limited to) Central Issues, Purchasing, Warehouse, Receiving, Billing, Processing, Clinical Engineering and information Systems. + Responsible for inventory functions and product and/or accounting discrepancies as a result of those functions. + Provides daily operational analysis through maintenance of automated information systems. + Forecasts inventory utilization based on standard acceptable par levels. Recommends inventory consumption control measures. + Responsible for determining usage, lead time, safety stock, MIN and MAX quantity for all inventory as assigned. **Schedule for this position will be 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday.** **Qualifications** Education: + High School Diploma or GED required + Associate's degree preferred Experience: + A minimum of 3 years of experience in Materials Management, Shipping/Receiving/Distribution required + Hospital inventory experience preferred + Computer literacy in word processing and spreadsheet applications required Physical Demands: + Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required **About Us** Cedars-Sinai is a leader in providing high-quality healthcare encompassing primary care, specialized medicine and research.
