1. Job Summary

The Delivery Driver operates vehicles such as trucks or vans to transport goods over established routes or within specific territories. They are responsible for delivering various items, including food products. Delivery drivers are instrumental in ensuring that goods reach their destinations promptly while providing excellent service to customers.
Job Activities

• Drive trucks to deliver such items as food.
• Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment.
• Handling and Moving Objects.
• Performing General Physical Activities.
• Getting Information.
• Performing for or Working Directly with the Public.
• Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates.
• Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work.
• Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings.
• Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events.
• Documenting/Recording Information.
• Load shipments, belongings, or materials.
• Maintain vehicles in good working condition.
• Operate vehicles or material-moving equipment.
• Record details of deliveries or shipments.
• Record sales or transaction data.

III. Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Transportation.
• Perfect driving record 
• Valid Florida Driver's license and personal auto insurance
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and be able to prevent and/or handle emergencies.
• A cheerful, positive attitude when working with a variety of people and be able to work well under pressure.
• Responsible, neat, and clean in appearance.
• Strong communication skills with supervisors and team members.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, Spanish is helpful.
