Job ID#211714** **Pay Rate: $70K-91K DOE** **Job Description:** A CNC maintenance technician with FANUC and HEIDENHAIN controls responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting CNC machines, specifically those equipped with FANUC and HEIDENHAIN control systems for an aerospace parts manufacturer. Will ensure the smooth operation of these machines, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system issues on CNC machines. Preventive Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance checks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and component inspection, to prevent breakdowns. Installation and Commissioning: Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new CNC machines. Calibration and Adjustment: Adjusting CNC geometry and servo systems to ensure accuracy and precision. Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications. Safety: Ensuring the safety of themselves and others when working on CNC machines. Training: Providing guidance and training to other technicians. Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as production and engineering, to optimize machine performance. Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician with CNC machines, including experience with FANUC and HEIDENHAIN controls. Must have experience with a machine shop environment. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Safety: Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices. Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant technical training or certifications. Preferred Skills: Experience with aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing environments, as well as experience with calibration systems (e.g., Renishaw).
