Job Description

I. Summary of the position:

The Campus Coordinator at BRAVE Church plays an instrumental role alongside the Campus Pastor (or Head of School, Deans and Teachers) in the administration, growth, development, and maintenance of the campus. This position operates with a high level of independence, initiative, confidentiality, and attention to detail, overseeing operational, administrative, and pastoral support functions to ensure seamless execution of the church’s mission and vision. The role requires strong organizational leadership, a heart for service, and a commitment to fostering an exceptional guest and event experience while maintaining operational excellence.

II. Key Responsibilities:

· Comprehensive Campus Operations Oversight

o Oversee daily operations of the campus in its entirety, ensuring all activities align with BRAVE Church’s mission and strategic goals.

o Coordinate with campus leadership to implement operational strategies that support ministry and school objectives.

o Monitor and evaluate campus processes, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

· Administrative Leadership

o Manage campus administrative tasks, including scheduling, budget accountability, resource allocation, and data integrity within RockRMS to support ministry and school programs.

o Maintain accurate records and documentation for campus activities, ensuring compliance with church and school policies.

o Assist administrative staff or volunteers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.

o Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and editing/proofreading skills.

o Oversee proper handling of online chat requests, email requests, and incoming phone calls, responding within a 24-hour timeframe.

o Process tasks within RockRMS (serving opportunities, Next Steps info, Cadre info, Membership info, baptism info).

o Manage room reservations within RockRMS, and inventory/ordering of campus supplies.

o Assist in all paperwork processes (purchase requisitions, etc.) and maintain/file documents.

· Pastoral Support

o Provide logistical and administrative support to the Campus Pastor or School Leadership to facilitate effective ministry delivery, including managing their schedule and daily assistance for various needs/requests.

o Assist in coordinating and helping campus leadership with all day-to-day tasks and implementation of senior leadership strategy.

o Assist in coordinating pastoral care initiatives, such as follow-ups with congregants and support for small groups or Cadres, or any school related support.

o Act as a liaison between campus leadership and congregants/parents to ensure clear communication and alignment with pastoral vision.

· Facility Coordination

o Assist the Campus Pastor and School Leadership in preparing the facility throughout the week for upcoming services, groups, events, etc.

o Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of campus facilities to create a welcoming environment.

o Coordinate with facility teams to schedule repairs, upgrades, and regular upkeep of church properties.

o Ensure facilities are prepared and equipped for services, events, and ministry activities, maintaining excellence inside and outside the facility

· Guest and Event Strategy Implementation and Excellence

o Develop and implement strategies to create a welcoming and engaging experience for guests and regular attendees.

o Coordinate campus events, including services, outreach programs, and special events, ensuring high-quality execution.

o Present at all ministry nights to ensure proper operations.

o Present at all Thursday morning prayer days ensuring proper operations.

o Train and lead a team of volunteers for receptionist duties, special projects, and delivering exceptional guest services, fostering a culture of hospitality and connection.

o Assist with planning, staffing, and implementing all special events and conferences at the campus.

o Create a high-touch environment (love, encourage, welcome people), seek out guests, and facilitate an exceptional experience.

o Identify and resolve potential issues during events.

· Weekly Responsibilities

o Administration : Build and lead a team of volunteers and assist with paperwork processes.

o Weekly Meeting Schedule : Attend weekly meetings with the Leadership and campus staff, monthly All-Staff meetings, and other meetings as needed.

· Sunday Responsibilities

o Be available to the Campus Pastor or School Leadership before, after, and during services for various needs that arise.

o Assist with planning, implementation, and facilitation of all events, with full accountability of operational outcomes.

o Manage all weekly paperwork (invoices, incoming mail, etc.) and send to the proper person on the Central Support Team as needed.

· Other Responsibilities

o Perform other related duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor or School Leadership.

III. Experience and Qualifications Required:

· Faith : A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for serving the local church and advancing its mission

· Experience : Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in operations, administration, or event coordination, preferably in a ministry or nonprofit setting (3-5 years preferred).

· Skills : Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams effectively. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills. Proven problem-solving and time management abilities.

· Education : Bachelor’s degree in business administration, ministry, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

· Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with church management software (e.g., RockRMS), scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn new software applications.

· Character : Demonstrates integrity, humility, a servant’s heart, and a steady, positive attitude. Projects a professional image, able to handle confidential information and a fast-paced, multi-task environment. Willingness to work after hours or weekends when needed.
